Disc three: DIGITAL VIDEO ESSENTIALS – Professional Level NTSCNTSC test signals designed for the industry professional, in addition to consumer level monitor set up patterns. Support for the test patterns contained on this disc can be found on the Joe Kane Productions website by registering your copy of “DVE Professional.”

Disc four: DIGITAL VIDEO ESSENTIALS – Professional Level PALPAL test signals designed for the industry professional, in addition to consumer level monitor set up patterns. Also contains the necessary programming to register and access Digital Video Essentials internet support.

Disc five: DIGITAL VIDEO ESSENTIALS – Professional Level WMVTest signals for Windows Media Video systems, including progressive standard definition signals 720x486p, and 854x480p, and HDTV

Disc six: DIGITAL VIDEO ESSENTIALS – Professional Level WMVTest signals for High-Definition Windows Media Video systems, at both 1280x720p, and 1920x1080p resolutions. Compatible with systems employing the HD color matrix described in Rec. ITU-R BT.709-4.

WMV HD-DVD Capability: Earlier implementations of Windows Media Video utilize an adaptation of standard definition color space to high-definition resolutions. Later versions of WMV incorporate an option to select high-definition color space. DVE: PRO includes signals to test both systems.

DVE: PROFESSIONAL EDITION was produced and mastered in the 1920 by 1080 progressive video format allowing for maximum signal fidelity. Additionally, format specific test signals originate in their native resolution. Sit back and enjoy the ride, as Digital Video Essentials takes you to a new realm of audio and video performance.

The majority of materials on all six discs are presented in the 1.78 full screen aspect ratio either in SD or HD. Some SD test and demonstration materials are being presented in the 1.33 aspect ratio on the four SD discs. Region Code set to 0, playable in all regions. DTS audio encoded test and demonstration materials can be found in specific titles on the two standard DVDs as well as a choice of English or Spanish narration in the Dolby Digital tracks. There are no language options in the four professional discs.
